Suggestions for raising chickens with broiler breeding equipment
    TIME:2019-04-01 CLICK:3405

      1. Before raising chickens, do not disinfect: Whether it is a new or old chicken coop, before entering the chicken coop, farmers need to thoroughly disinfect the coop to avoid the presence of bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms. However, most chicken farmers do not have sufficient preparation for disinfection, which leads to incomplete disinfection and susceptibility to diseases in the flock. Therefore, farmers need to thoroughly disinfect all equipment and tools before entering the chicken coop,

      2. Not valuing the selection of chicks: Some breeders do not have a clear understanding of the source of their chicks, resulting in unclear health status of the chicks. When choosing chicks, breeders must purchase them from a breeding farm with a production and operation license and reliable quality.

      3. Unreasonable drinking and feeding of chicken flocks: The feeding and drinking of chicks is very important. Drinking too late can lead to dehydration and death of chicks, while eating too late can cause some chicks to eat human and other foreign objects. Farmers should take the chicks to the chicken cage and let them rest for 30 minutes in the transport box, then release free drinking water for 2-3 hours (chicks can drink 24-36 hours after hatching), and then sprinkle the feed on the feeding plate for free consumption. Antiepidemic drugs can be added to drinking water.

      4. The temperature control of the chick coop is improper. Chickens need a relatively high temperature at birth to ensure healthy growth. Farmers should control it at around 33-35 ℃ during the first week of hatching. Due to the direct impact of temperature on the survival rate of chicks, too low a temperature can lead to a decrease in the temperature of the chicken body, weakened resistance, and various diseases. Too high a temperature can lead to thermal effects and heatstroke.

      5. Low awareness of hygiene and epidemic prevention: The environmental hygiene of chicken coops is key to ensuring the healthy growth of chickens, so the hygiene management of chicken coops is very important. Xingruida recommends that breeders have specialized shoes and clothing when entering and exiting. Do not let anyone enter or leave the chicken coop at will. If sick chickens appear, be aware of quickly isolating and disinfecting them. In terms of disinfection, farmers must have the concept of regular disinfection.
